The Yankees have played absolutely TERRIBLE against the Red Sox so far this year.... you can't do much worse then winless.
The good news: We're only one game back.
Things can ONLY go up against the Red Sox, we will not go 0-19. CC will challenge the Sox hitters tomorrow and we'll take that game and leave the Fen tied up again. Don't jump just yet my friends
The other good news for today is the bullpen looked strong. Phil Hughes looked great, Phil Coke and Aceves followed suit. If the latter two can remain strong and hold the bullpen together until Brian Bruney comes back, factor in the Sandman at the end and the pen could be fine.

June 6th, Yankees vs. Rays.
Geez... people act like Girardi pulled CC and put Johnny Damon in to pitch.
Down by three now after a base hit off of Phil Coke. It's not looking good but we win tomorrow and have a chance to take the series. Just take the series and move on.
Mo didn't have it today, he's older and coming off shoulder surgery - it's going to happen.
Go Get 'em tomorrow!!
Update: 9-5 going to the bottom of the 9th after a great throw by Posada to end the inning. Personally, I thought he should have left CC in for the 9th, but like I said, it's not like he called on Johnny Damon to pitch.
Update: single, double, double plates two but they can't tie it up. There's a LOT of fight in this team, and teams that win fight like this Yankees team. Win tomorrow!!

Texas 4 Yankees 2
No big deal... one loss, we get CMW on the hill tomorrow with a chance to win the series. Winning the series is all that matters.
Lets put this one behind us and look forward to the return of Wang. With 80 pitches I think he can give us 6 good innings and turn in over to Aceves, Coke, and Rivera for the win.
